While there are many hardware offerings on the market today for electronic controllers, our team struggled to find a solution that could meet the functional requirements for desert racing. OFF-ROAD RESEARCH developed the Dynamics Control Module Eight (DCM8) as a technical solution that provided the necessary computational power without sacrificing durability. Drawing from the aerospace industry, the DCM8 utilizes state-of-the-art, tri-core processing architecture to exact the optimal damping response in fractions of a second. The custom circuitry is packaged inside a CNC machined 7000 series aluminum enclosure designed and engineered to military environmental requirements. And, like all of our products, thousands of hours of durability testing were performed in the laboratory first and then later repeated on-vehicle in the desert.

RAPTOR GEN3 Damper Interface Device
(DID)

At OFF-ROAD RESEARCH, we understand the importance of pre-running surfaces with the same technology that our drivers will utilize on race day. We developed the Damper Interface Device (DID) as a method to bypass the factory suspension system in our customer's pre-runners and enable installation of the same Intelligent Dynamics Platform operating in their race trucks. The DID delivers a complete bypass of the factory suspension system without sacrificing core functionality.
