The OFF-ROAD RESEARCH DCM8 is a premium semi-active damper controller for OEM retrofit and aftermarket applications. It is a direct bolt-in replacement for the 2021+ Gen3 F150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, and Ranger Raptor vehicles. With the addition of an application-specific jumper harness, it is also plug and play compatible for the 2019-2020 Raptor vehicles and the Ram TRX.
Configuration of the unit occurs via Over the Air (OTA) flashing and table editing via the ORRacle companion mobile app. Damper current control is configurable via tunable parameters including the following:
- Vehicle Velocity
- Brake Pressure
- Vehicle Engine Torque
- Throttle Position
- Steering Angle / Steering Angle Rate for Transient Roll Control
- Vehicle Roll / Pitch / Yaw Rates
- Vehicle Lat / Long / Vert Accelerations
- Wheel Positions (via OEM sensors or available Patented ORRSRCH Integrated Position Sensors)
- Steering Wheel Button Mapping for 'Oh-Shit' mode including vehicle speed based magnitude and event duration calibration
Compatible with OEM LiveValve dampers, ORR eRESi, ORR eBYPASS™, or other aftermarket systems, up to 8 channels.
